UNIVERSAL REFORMER

You can get a full body workout on just the reformer and still not even touch on the endless amounts of exercises that can be done on this incredible piece of equipment.
The pilates reformer is designed to simultaneously stimulate: muscle flexibility, joint mobility, general tone and strength - especially of the core - resulting in better overall functionality due to the readjustment of the body and improvement of posture.

CADILLAC

The subsequent CADILLAC name derives from the use of springs comparable in sensation to the soft suspensions of this particular car.
The ground clearance of approx. 70 cm. of the horizontal plane of the tool allows older people, or those who have to follow a rehabilitation program, to relax easily.
In particular, CADILLAC is used for resistance exercises mainly to lengthen, articulate and stabilize the spine.
Whether sitting, standing, kneeling, lying or even upside down, the springs, bars, mat and trapeze of the Cadillac provide the most diverse Pilates experience.
Challenge the body in multiple planes of motion with one apparatus.
The Cadillac supports fitness and rehabilitation for all ages and levels with its extensive range of exercises offered.

TOWER

PEDI POLE

The exercises you can practice on the Ped-o-Pull range from simple to quite advanced.
The Ped-o-pull is especially good for working on your standing alignment, strengthening the muscles around the shoulder girdle, fine tuning your Pilates breathing and is wonderful for strengthening you core muscles!

ELECTRIC CHAIR

It helps with alignment, finding the centre and strengthening.
Many exercises on the High Chair serve both the strengthening of legs, hips and glutes as well as the targeted balance of muscular imbalances.

LADDER BARREL

The barrel can also be used for ab exercises and oblique movements. The barrel forces the spine to move through a greater range of motion than on the mat or on the other equipment and this makes these exercises some of the most challenging in the Pilates repertoire.
The rungs can also be grasped by hands if the barrel is being used the other way around.
Holding on to the rungs usually reduces the challenge of ladder barrel exercises as it adds an element of stability. The different rung settings also mean that the barrel can be used by people of different heights.
The ladder barrel can also be used from a seated position for dynamic, full-body exercises like “horseback”, “swan dive” and some acrobatic exercises like “hand stand”.

BABY CHAIR

WUNDA CHAIR

The wunda chair features a cushioned seat, a spring loaded footbar, and some chairs also have handle bars that can attach to its sides. The chair is a seemingly simple piece of equipment but is probably one of the more challenging ones in the studio to work the powerhouse.
We move to the chair during private sessions once clients show good form and a basic understanding of the Pilates principles on the reformer.
We use the wunda chair to challenge your balance, strengthen your core, arms, and legs, develop coordination, and practice stabilization!

SPINE CORRECTOR

It can be used with other pieces of equipment to increase the range of movement (and therefore the challenge) of certain exercises.
Unless you’re an acrobat or paint a lot of ceilings, you probably don’t spend much time rotating or extending your spine.
Modern life forces us to spend hours slumped forward over a computer, which results in hunched postures, sore backs and a whole host of other health problems.
To counter this – and keep our spine healthy – we need to be moving the body in all directions.
Their rounded surfaces support these extension and side-bending movements and through this help to improve the mobility, flexibility and strength of the spine.
But these curved surfaces support the spine and encourage it to move more evenly when creating these shapes.
This make these exercises safer and more attainable, which is especially helpful when it comes to teaching Pilates to pregnant women, people with injuries or beginners.
